You’ll strongly agree with me when I say that the spin-off of NCIS has been a huge success. This show named NCIS: Lao Angeles has managed to leave its mark in the very first season. This police procedural series took-off on September 22, 2009 has already started matching the ratings of its parent series. Due to high ratings, it had earlier been given a full-season pickup of 22 episodes which was further extended on November 4, 2009 to an additional two episodes. Wow!! Isn’t it a huge achievement for a show to accomplish? But it has proved its worth and made us to expect more.

I am sure that you guys can recall that the original NCIS too was a spin-off of another CBS series, “JAG.” It appears as though the concept of spin-offs is working very well for the creators. So now we may expect the same to happen with this new season as well. Hopes and aspirations will never end… Anyways coming back to the series, here Chris O’Donnell plays the lead character of Callen who is an undercover work specialist. I consider it my duty to stand up for what is right, because what is going on is completely wrong. I give speeches on this, and there’s long articles in The Advocate and everything else, but if you look at anti-miscegenation laws, which was a Federal law against people of different races marrying each other, including Native Americans - we only got rid of that in 1967 because of Loving vs. Virginia. Now, people look at that and go, “Oh, that’s crazy.”

She gave a brief snapshot of her story behind becoming a civil rights activist. She said that her early childhood was spent inside a church. However, she vacated the church to realize her cherished dream of becoming an activist. She  attended her first rally at the blossoming age of sixteen.

She clarified her decision behind leaving the church. She said that initially she did a lot of brainstorming. However, soon she realized that by being in the church she could not do something of great substance. Therefore she made a strong resolve to leave the church.

But the latest news bash reveals the fact that NCIS can generate 440V! The new spin-off of NCIS required a lot of power to travel to 21millions of houses as their TVs were ON at the same moment!

Boy! I wonder how the electricity generators and distributors would’ve faced the tough time while the show cast was going on.

NCIS premiered its seventh season recently which recorded 21 million viewers and set its personal record for having the largest viewer ship number! The interesting fact is that out of those 21 millions, 19 millions were glued to the screens during the cast of “NCIS: Los Angeles”!

Vow! If NCIS would’ve been my show, I would have jumped out of the bed and would’ve hanged myself from the fence of the terrace thereby laughing my heart out as loud as I can! But then, I would’ve been considered a dumb as I never see the other side of coin!

But NCIS co-star Chris O’Donnell does! When asked by the reporters, about his feelings on that record, he replied wit fully that these types of records deserve a mixed reaction from his side as it is a rejoicing-moment to make a huge traffic diverted to your network but then, it also raises the expectations of the people!

NCIS star Cote De Pablo looked extremely beautiful at the 24th Annual Imagen Awards, which were held on Friday, 21^st August, 2009. She stole hearts of the guests with her natural sweet smile and gorgeous looks. She wore a deep ruby red asymmetrical one shoulder evening gown for the event.

There were more than 500 people who attended the black- gala event including celebrities like Andy Garcia, Benjamin Bratt, Jimmy Smits, Edward James Olmos, Nadine Velazquez and Paul Rodriguez but every one was looking at her only. She became the centre point of party.

The ceremony was held in Beverly Hills, California, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. This event was a tribute to Latinos and Latino culture’s positive portrayals in entertainment. Cote De Pablo did not win any award this year but she was herself looking as a shinning trophy.

Cote De Pablo, first joined NCIS on a temporary basis but in 2006, but when she won an Imagen Award for “Best Supportong Actress Award in Television” for NCIS, her role was extended on permanent basis.

She is enacting the role of Ziva David, a Mossad Liaison Officer, in NCIS. Her character is quite ‘bold and beautiful’ type, like “Someone completely different from anyone else on the show because she’s been around men all her life; she’s used to men in authority. NCIS’ sixth season episode, entitled ‘Legend (Part 1), gave a prologue to the upcoming spin-off. In this episode, the team members of the spin-off were introduced. Most notable among them are, Special Agent G. Callen, played by Chris O’Donnell, and Special Agent Sam Hanna, played by LL Cool J. The next episode ‘Legend (Part 2)’, which was aired on May 5, 2009, also threw some light on the story and theme of the spin off.

The spin-off would be completely different from its predecessor, as per the statement of Shane Brennan, the executive producer of the show. The new series would be centering on undercover and surveillance work. And, you please don’t think that NCIS spin off is gonna be like its ancestor, as it has been denied by Brennan saying, “There are no forensics or autopsies in it.  There is no [lab tech] Abby character in it.  It’s not going to trample on our traditional ‘NCIS’ show”. So, things are gonna be pretty exciting and quite unlike anything seen on NCIS before.

Hey everyone! Well as we go through another incredibly successful season of NCIS tv show, here is some good news about one of the stars of the show. CBS Network has confirmed the rumors that Pauley Perrette, who plays the role of Abby Sciuto on the show, has been engaged to her boyfriend, cameraman Michael Bosman. The couple began dating in 2005, while Pauley was still going through her bitter divorce with Coyote Shivers. There is no news about when the couple will get married. The couple did not, reportedly, say anything about their engagement but said that they would prefer to call their marriage a celebration of their love. Well, we wish that the 39 year old actress continues the celebrations of love for an entire lifetime. After all, this NICS star deserves to be happy after facing some really rough times in her first marriage and now that she has seemingly found the love of her life, our only hope is that nothing gets in the way of her happiness ever again.

Pauley has a master’s degree in criminology and plays a forensic examiner on NCIS which likely gives her an opportunity to put her education to good use on the show. NICS has been quite different from other crime series, in that it is perhaps the only series that has something for everyone. It is a great blend of humor, drama, whodunit mystery and most of all, action! The show which is currently airing its Season 6 has been a runaway hit from day one and in the current season it has reached the heights of popularity! The series is set apart from others of its genre, by the storylines, which even though might not be totally unique; do have good enough twists and turns that make them worth watching. Scoop I just heard about NCIS and had to share with you just now.

We all know that NCIS had premiered way back in 2003 but even after running for six years the magic of the show has not waned.

What’s new in this, you may ask???

Well news are the facts that say that the sixth season is touching new heights with approximately twenty million people watching the episode ‘Silent Night’ which was aired on the sixteenth of this month.

Now that’s an achievement, I tell you.

Most of the shows begin losing their popularity or ratings with each successive season but this change of trend for NCIS speaks highly for the wonderfully created show.

Other then NCIS, another CBS Network show, The Mentalist has also grabbed a lot of viewer ship, a staggering 19.33 million pairs of eyes watched it on Tuesday.

Whoa that sounds great.

These kind of shows, the crime investigation ones, are really doing amazingly well, telling us that the days of crime serials are not yet over.

We wish that NCIS keeps on climbing new heights and achieves more success, but while retaining the high quality work we are so used to.

And before I forget, a big congratulations to all of you, NCIS fans, who have rooted for this show since so many years.
