Season six rocked………..
Did you catch the most awaited new season of NCIS? It was a rocking premier, and the credit goes to the happening end, that creators had given to the season five. All the old members were shuffled here and there. Tony was sent to USS Ronal Reagan, McGee to cyber crime division and the worst with Ziva; she was terminated from her liaison status by the new director. The season six brought a fresh team with the old boss Gibbs, but with an interesting twist. In the very beginning of the sixth season, Gibbs is suspicious over his new team. He doubts that somebody among them is working as a counterspy. In the end, his doubt proves to be correct as well. The new member Agent Michelle Lee seems to be the mole. She receives a text message in the end of the first episode saying, “Do They Suspect?” and she replies, “No”.
Anyways, I liked the idea and way of her entry and exit. Three new faces were introduced as new members, but Lee took out the larger chunk. The character marked its importance in such a small role. Hey! But my only grudge was Tony’s exit. Oh! He’s my favorite character on the show since its beginning. But thank God! He’s back to the show, so what if in second episode.
Another happening thing about this season is that Director Leon Vance has been converted into goody goody guy now. Nonetheless, he has been transformed into regular character from recurring. Great! I hope at least now he will be seen doing something else other than just terminating existing officers.
Over all, this season is a success again like previous ones. If you don’t know, then I must tell you that this long smoldering premier of sixth season attracted 18 million viewers. It remained on number one as well as bagged the title of most watched show in its time slot.
It left behind all the other shows of the same category and even the different ones like House. Now, did you understand the secret behind its success for six seasons? I wish that the show has lot more seasons in its baggage for its fans.
